Purpose

Use this guide when you want to set prices yourself instead of relying on automatic sources. This is especially helpful if some conditions don’t have prices and items are hidden from customers.

Video Walkthrough

Watch a quick 2-minute tutorial to see how to spot flagged items and update prices step by step.

Steps

1. Spot Items That Need Manual Pricing

  • Go to Settings > Price Editor from your dashboard.

  • Look for the red flag icon next to an item.

    • This means one or more conditions don’t have a price.

    • Flagged items remain hidden from customers until priced.

Tip: Hover over the red flag to see the message: “This item is flagged due to unavailable prices for certain conditions.

2. Open the Manual Pricing Table

  • Click the dropdown next to the flagged item.

  • The table expands with tools to update prices, including:

    • Search bar – quickly find specific models.

    • Tooltip reminder – conditions with $0 must be updated.

    • Condition list – each shows a status icon.

3. Understand Pricing Icons

  • Black Pencil – Price is synced from a source (editable).

  • Red Pencil – No price pulled (set to $0). Needs manual pricing.

Tip: Hovering shows “Manual pricing required: Conditions priced at $0 must be manually priced to be visible to your customers.

4. Update Prices

  • Click the pencil icon next to a condition.

  • Enter your price → click the checkmark to save.

  • Your price goes live instantly.

  • If needed:

    • Click X to undo a change.

    • Click the trash bin to delete a manual entry (resets to default).

5. Reset Manual Pricing (Optional)

  • Click the Reset button at the top of the pricing section.

  • This clears all manual prices for that item, allowing you to start fresh.

Examples/Scenarios:

  • If a condition (e.g., “Like New”) has no price, it won’t show to customers until you add one.

  • If you want to override an automatic source price, use manual pricing to set your own value.

Tips & Notes

  • Tip: Always double-check red pencil icons—they mean customers can’t see that condition yet.

  • Note: Items with missing prices stay hidden until all conditions are covered.

  • Note: Manual pricing gives you full control but requires regular upkeep.
