Samsung Reactivation Lock is a security feature available on Samsung devices running Android OS 5.1 or higher. It is also known as Factory Reset Protection (FRP). This feature helps protect your device by preventing unauthorized access after a factory reset.
With Reactivation Lock enabled, you must enter your Samsung account credentials before resetting your device, ensuring that only you can reactivate it if it’s lost or stolen.
Note: Reactivation Lock is different from Device Lock, which refers to the PIN, password, or biometric authentication used to unlock your device after it has been turned off or inactive. |
