Incentivize with Bonus Percentages

How to encourage customers to choose specific payout methods by offering percentage-based bonuses.

Purpose

The Bonus Percentage feature lets you add an extra incentive when customers pick certain payout methods (e.g., Store Credit). This helps drive loyalty, promote preferred payment options, and increase repeat business.

Steps

  1. Locate Bonus Settings

  2. Set Your Bonus

    • Enter the bonus percentage (e.g., 15%).

    • The bonus will automatically adjust the offer value when this method is selected.

  3. Automatic Application

    • On the Buyback Widget: Customers will see the boosted value when selecting the incentivized payout.

    • On Manual Offer Creation: Team members will also see the adjusted device values during checkout.

Examples in Action

  • You want to promote Store Credit over Cash, so you set a 15% bonus. A $100 offer becomes $115 when Store Credit is chosen.

  • If a customer selects Cash instead, no bonus is applied.


Tips & Notes

  • You can apply bonuses to any payout method available in your account.

  • Bonuses are always applied as a percentage of the total device value.

  • Use this feature to encourage loyalty programs or shift behavior toward lower-cost payout methods.
