Mail-In Setup Guide
1: Configure Your Catalog
Navigate to:
Settings → Catalog
The Catalog page is the central place to configure your entire buyback setup. From here, you can manage products, conditions, pricing, and purchasing methods in one workspace.
From the Catalog page, you can:
Enable or disable products for buyback
Assign Condition Groups
Configure Manual Pricing or Price Sync
Enable purchasing methods
Import custom catalog items
Enable Recycling
Upload or export pricing
2: Enable Products
Open a product category and expand the brand you want to configure.
You can:
Enable an entire brand using Select All
Enable individual models
Enable multiple models at the same time
Once enabled, products become available for additional configuration.
3: Configure Conditions
From the Catalog page, select:
Condition Settings
Here you can:
Create Condition Groups
Use preset conditions
Create manual conditions
Edit existing groups
Delete unused groups
After creating a Condition Group, assign it to the appropriate products.
Each product can have its own Condition Group, allowing more flexibility when configuring buyback workflows.
4: Configure Conditional Questions (Optional)
Conditional Questions allow customers to answer additional questions that can affect pricing.
Examples:
Does the device include the original charger?
Is the battery original?
Is the screen cracked?
Each answer can:
Do nothing
Apply a Markup
Apply a Markdown
You can also configure:
Required questions
Multiple answers
Minimum Guardrails
Bulk Conditional Questions
Conditional Questions automatically appear throughout the buyback journey, including:
Widget
Offer Details
Customer Portal
Receipts
5: Configure Pricing
From the Catalog page, select the product you want to configure.
The Pricing section allows you to:
Edit prices manually
Configure Price Sync
Override synced prices
Copy pricing between conditions
Apply Pricing Rules
Each condition has its own pricing value that can be edited directly inside the pricing table.
Using Price Sync
Select:
Manage Price Sync
You can:
Create a new Price Sync setup
Edit an existing setup
Disable syncing
Price Sync automatically updates supported products from your selected pricing source.
Manual Pricing
You can manually enter prices by selecting any price cell and entering the desired value.
Manual prices override synced values for that specific condition.
Pricing Rules
Pricing Rules allow you to automatically copy prices between conditions.
Example:
Brand New → Excellent
Excellent → Good
Mass Pricing
Navigate to:
More Actions → Mass Pricing
Mass Pricing allows you to:
Apply Markup
Apply Markdown
Match prices
across multiple products.
6: Enable Purchasing Methods
Each product can be configured independently for purchasing methods.
Supported methods include:
Mail-In
In-Store
Custom Location
Enable only the purchasing methods you want customers to use.
The Overview section displays how many products are enabled for each purchasing method.
Example:

Easy Offer (12)
7: Configure Recycling (Optional)
Navigate to:
More Actions → Enable Recycling
Recycling allows customers to recycle items instead of selling them.
Select:
Category
Brand
Models
Eligible conditions
You can also customize the recycling message shown to customers.
8: Upload Custom Catalog (Optional)
Navigate to:
More Actions → Upload Custom Catalog
To upload products:
Download the template
Complete the required fields
Upload the completed file
Requirements:
Unique SKU
Public image URLs
Supported image formats (.svg or .webp)
Imported products appear under the Other category.
9: Upload Pricing (Optional)
Navigate to:
More Actions → Price Upload
To update pricing in bulk:
Download the pricing template
Update your prices
Upload the completed CSV or XLSX file
Pricing will be updated without editing individual products.
10: Export Catalog Data (Optional)
Select:
Export
The exported file includes:
Active products
Pricing
Conditions
Configuration data
This can be used for backups or bulk reviews.
1: Configure Payout Methods
Navigate to:
Settings → Payouts
Set up the payout methods customers can choose from when completing a trade-in offer.
11: Configure Workflow Emails
Navigate to:
Settings → Advanced Settings → Workflow
Customize the automated emails sent when an offer status changes throughout the trade-in process.
12: Configure Notification Settings
Navigate to:
Settings → Advanced Settings → Notifications
Here you can:
Add and verify your sending domain
Send emails from your own domain instead of the default Reusely email address
Manage notification templates
13: Configure the Customer Portal
Navigate to:
Settings → Advanced Settings → Customer Portal
Configure the portal where customers can track their offers and view updates.
You can also connect a custom domain for your Customer Portal.
14: Configure Offer Settings
Navigate to:
Settings → Basic Setting → Offers
Customize how offers are displayed and processed for your customers.
15: Configure Receipt Settings
Navigate to:
Settings → General Setting → Receipts
Customize the receipts generated for completed offers.
16: Configure Shipping
Reusely supports the following shipping integrations:
Shipmondo
EasyPost
ShipEngine
To connect a shipping provider, navigate to:
Settings → Advanced Settings → Add-ons
After connecting your preferred shipping provider, navigate to:
Settings → Advanced Settings → Shipping
Configure your shipping kits and shipping workflow settings.
18: Copy the Widget Code
Navigate to:
Settings → Widgets
Copy the Mail-In widget code and install it on your website.
Once installed, customers will be able to submit Mail-In trade-in offers.
In-Store Setup Guide
1: Configure Catalog
Navigate to:
Settings → Catalog
Configure products, conditions, pricing, and purchasing methods from the Catalog page.
Complete the following setup:
Enable products
Assign Condition Groups
Configure pricing
Enable In-Store purchasing method
2: Configure Payout Methods
Navigate to:
Settings → Basic Setting → Payouts
Configure the payout methods available to customers.
3: Configure Workflow Emails
Navigate to:
Settings → Advanced Settings → Workflow
Customize automated emails sent throughout the trade-in process.
4: Configure Notification Settings
Navigate to:
Settings → Advanced Settings → Notifications
Manage email templates and connect your sending domain.
5: Configure Customer Portal

Configure the Customer Portal and optional custom domain.

Navigate to:
Settings → Basic Setting → Offers
Customize your offer experience and customer-facing settings.
7: Configure Receipt Settings
Navigate to:
Settings → General Setting → Receipts
Customize receipts generated for completed transactions.
8: Copy the Widget Code
Navigate to:
Settings → Basic Setting → Widgets → Widget Code
Copy the In-Store widget code and install it on your website.
Once installed, customers can start submitting In-Store trade-in offers.
