Purposes

This walkthrough explains how to create a Mail-In Buyback Offer using the Widget to provide customers with a fast, intuitive self-service experience.


Before You Start

Make sure:

  • The items you want to trade in are prepared and available

  • Your Customer Portal subdomain is successfully connected

  • Required add-ons and integrations are enabled on your account

Steps

How To Make a Mail-in Offer in Your Widget

  1. Access the Widget

    Open the Widget from your company website or use the Widget Real-Time Preview.

    Access Lead Details

  2. Select the Item

    • Choose an item category, or search if it’s not listed

      Open Lead Options
    • Select the brand (for example, Pixel)

      Select Mail-In Offer Tab
    • Choose the device model

      Access Widget Settings
    • (Optional) If enabled, the “Get up to” estimated price will be displayed.

  3. Define Item Details

    • Select device capacity

      Configure Offer Validity
    • (Optional) View the Price Trend Graph for additional pricing insight

    • Choose the condition that best matches the item

      Enable Offer Notifications
    • Review any conditions requiring approval and the estimated payout

      Review Offer Summary
    • Click Confirm Item

      Save Offer Changes

  4. Choose Processing Method
    Select Mail-In (or In-Store)

    Return to Dashboard

  5. Review Offer Summary

    • Confirm item details

    • Adjust quantities or add more items

    • Click Continue

    Open Widget Menu

  6. Enter Contact & Shipping Information

    Complete the following:

    • Email address (optional opt-in for updates and offers)

    • Preferred payout method (choose Expedited Payout for faster processing)

    • Recipient’s name

    • Shipping address (select from the dropdown for accuracy)

    • Phone number and SMS update preferences

    • Request additional shipping labels, if needed

    Access Bulk Offer Settings

  7. Finalize the Offer

    • Review and accept the Terms and Conditions

    • Click Lock In Offer

    Access Mail-In Offer List

  8. Confirmation & Next Steps

    • Review offer details, including offer ID, creation date, payout method, address, and tracking number

    • Download and print the shipping kit using the Shipping Label button

    • Upload item photos as supporting documentation, if needed

    • Review total payout details

    Click here

Once submitted, the offer will automatically appear in Active Leads and Offer Management, under both the All tab and the Mail-In tab, ready for processing by your team.


Tips and Notes

  • Custom offers are reviewed before final pricing is confirmed.

  • Uploading clear item photos can help speed up evaluation.

  • Customers receive updates via the Customer Portal, email, or SMS based on their preferences.
