Purpose
This walkthrough explains how to create a Mail-In Custom Quote offer in Reusely. Custom offers allow both your team and customers to process items that are not available in your catalog, providing a flexible, convenient way to handle unique or uncommon devices.
Before You Begin
Make sure:
You already have accurate details for the item (name, category, condition, and any specifications).
Custom offers are request-based, meaning your team will review the submission and provide pricing after evaluation.
Your Widget and Customer Portal are correctly set up and connected.

Steps
How To Make a Mail-In Custom Offer
1. Open the Widget
Go to your company website and open the Buyback Widget.
Type the item the customer wants to sell. Then click “I can’t find what I’m looking for” to start a custom offer.
Or simply click "Can't find what you're looking to sell? Get a Custom Offer".
2. Define the Item
Using Available Categories
Create Custom Condition
If the item doesn’t match any existing category, you can create your own by filling in the following details:
Item Name
Manufacturer
Storage
Item Condition & Details
Then click Save Item & Continue.
3. (Optional) Fill customer's email
If you Collect Leads on email, this field is required.
4. Select Shipping Method
Choose Mail-In as the shipping option.
5. Review the Offer Summary
Review the item details.
Adjust the quantity or add additional items if needed.
Click Continue.
Note
There's a Custom Item logo with a tooltip "Pending Price Review".
6. Enter Contact Information
Complete the following details:
Email address
Payout method
Customer name
Shipping address
Select from the dropdown to auto-fill the address fields accurately.
Phone number
Enable SMS updates if needed.
Additional shipping labels
Request extra labels if required.
7. Confirm and Submit
Review the Terms and Conditions.
Click Lock In Offer to finalize the offer.
8. (Optional) Upload Image
If you required an Upload Image on Offer Settings, customers need to upload the image before can lock the offer.
9. After Submission
The confirmation page displays:
Offer summary
Offer ID
Shipping details
Option to download the shipping label
(Optional) You can upload item photos to help with evaluation.
Since this is a custom offer, final pricing will be confirmed after your team reviews the item.
How It Appears in Offer Management
After submission, the Mail-In Custom Offer appears in the Offer Management page, ready for review with a Pending status. Customers receive updates via the Customer Portal, email, or SMS (if enabled), while your team can proceed with pricing confirmation and next workflow steps.
