Default Email Sender

How to configure and verify the email address used for outgoing Reusely notifications

Purpose

The Default Email Sender lets you configure the business email address that customers see when they receive notifications from Reusely.

Verifying your sender domain can help improve email deliverability and maintain your business branding.


Step 1: Open Default Email Sender

  1. Go to Settings → Notification Settings.

  2. Locate Default Email Sender.

  3. Click Verify Sender Identity.

Step 2: Configure Your Sender

  1. Enter the business email address you want to use.

  2. Select your preferred Data Region:

    • United States

    • Europe

  3. Click Continue.

Note

Only business email addresses can be verified. Free email providers such as Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook.com are not supported.

Step 3: Add DNS Records

Reusely will display the DNS records required to verify your domain.

Log in to your domain provider and add the records provided by Reusely.

For each record:

  1. Select the correct record type.

  2. Copy the Name into your DNS provider’s Host/Name field.

  3. Copy the Value into the Value/Data/Points To field.

  4. Leave TTL as the default value or select the lowest available value.

  5. Save the record.

Repeat these steps for all required records.

Step 4: Verify Your Domain

Return to Reusely and click Verify.

The records will display their current status as Verified or Unverified.

Note

DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate.

Important

If your domain already has an SPF record, merge the Reusely SPF value into your existing SPF record instead of creating a second SPF record.

Step 5: Reverify Your Sender

After updating your DNS records, click Reverify to check the latest verification status. If verification remains unsuccessful after DNS propagation, review the DNS records with your domain administrator or contact Reusely Support.


From and Reply-To Behavior

When your sender is verified:

From: Uses your verified sender email.

When your sender is unverified:

From: Automatically uses the default sender.

  • Standard Reusely accounts use the default @sell.reusely.com sender.

  • White Label accounts use their branded default sender.

Reply-To

Reply-To always follows your most recently entered sender email, even if it has not yet been verified.


Reverify Your Sender

If you've updated your DNS records, click Reverify to check the latest verification status.

Reverify checks:

  • TXT

  • DMARC

  • MX

During the grace period:

  • TXT is Required.

  • DMARC is Optional.

  • MX is Optional.

After the grace period:

  • TXT is Required.

  • DMARC is Required.

  • MX remains Optional.


Email Verification Instructions

To complete verification:

  1. Copy the DNS records provided by Reusely.

  2. Add them to your DNS provider.

  3. Allow up to 24 hours for DNS propagation.

  4. Click Reverify.

If you need assistance, contact your IT administrator or Reusely Support.

Tips & Notes

  • Use a business email address that belongs to your own domain.

  • Make sure you add each DNS record exactly as provided by Reusely.

  • Allow up to 24 hours for DNS changes to propagate.

  • If your domain already has an SPF record, update the existing record instead of creating a second one.

  • If verification remains unsuccessful after DNS propagation, check the DNS records with your domain administrator or contact Reusely Support.


You’ve now completed the Default Email Sender setup. Verifying your sender domain helps Reusely send notifications using your business email address while supporting better email deliverability and consistent branding.
