Purpose

The Offer Page Settings let you customize how buyback offers work in Reusely. This includes setting expiration rules, offer limits, default confirmations, custom purchase methods, and lead capture features. Ensuring your process is smooth and aligned with your business needs.

Key Features

  • Set custom prefixes for offer IDs

  • Control the offer validity duration with price lock

  • Limit items per offer (Mail-In only)

  • Allow customers to request custom quotes for unavailable specific items

  • Boost lead offers by collecting customer details before showing offer results

  • Auto-accept revised offers after a set time

  • Customize confirmation messages by purchase method

  • Enable/disable IMEI/serial number input requirement

  • Add custom purchase methods with icons, links, and descriptions

  • Lead booster to capture customer data before showing offers

  • Instructional banner control for the offer page

Before You Begin

Make sure you’ve:

  • Set up your purchasing methods (Mail-In, In-Store, Custom)

  • Reviewed your brand messaging for confirmation messages

  • Plan how long your offers should remain valid

  • Decided if you want to enforce item limits or auto-accept logic

Steps

Step 1: Access Offer Settings

Step 2: Set Buyback Offer ID Prefix

  • In the Offer ID Prefix field, enter a custom prefix.

    Access Offer Settings

  • This helps you categorize and track offers by campaign or channel.

Step 3: Configure Offer Expiry (Price Lock)

  • Set the number of days your offers will remain valid.

    Select Offer Settings Area

  • After this duration, unused offers will automatically expire.

Step 4: Set Maximum Items Per Offer (Mail-In Only)

  • Set a numeric limit (1–99) on how many items can be included per Mail-In offer

📝 Tooltip: “Restrict the number of items You can set limit on items per offer exclusively for the Mail-In purchasing method.”

    Continue in Offers Section

Step 5: Custom Item Quotes

  • Enable: Switch Custom Item Quotes On to allow customers to request a manual quote for items that require review.

    Proceed to Next Step

  • Set turnaround: In Quote Turnaround (days), enter the number of days your team will take to process each manual quote.

    Advance in Offer Settings

  • Category-Based Condition Presets: Enable this feature to include detailed item information, such as the item name, add up to five custom fields, and conditions & details that can be selected from your available data.

    Continue Offer Configuration

Notes

  • The maximum turnaround is 30 days.

  • Choose a timeframe that your team can consistently meet.

  • Add custom fields that are general or align with your company’s goals.

  • If you want to submit a custom quote via API, you can use -1 as the product ID to indicate a custom item.

  • You will still need to provide a valid condition ID when creating the quote.

  • Currently, creating a fully custom quote via the API is not supported because a condition ID is still required.

Step 6: Minimum Requirements for Mail-In Offers

Set Minimum Requirements (All Categories)

  • In the Minimum Requirements section, you can set:

    • Total Offer Amount (e.g., customers must reach a minimum value).

    • Minimum Item Quantity (e.g., customers must send at least a certain number of items).

      Specify Entire Catalog

  • Add Specific Category Rules

    • In the Category Rules section, click Add Category Rule.

    • Define the rule by selecting a Category, then enter the required Amount and Quantity.

    • Repeat this step if you need multiple category-specific rules.

      Select Category Field

Step 7: Enable Auto-Accept for Revised Offers

  • Toggle ON the auto-accept feature.

  • Set the number of days (minimum 15) before the system auto-accepts revised offers.

    📝 Tooltip:

“After this many days, revised offers will be automatically accepted. The status updates to ‘Seller Accepted – Automatically Accepted.’”

    Proceed in Category Settings

Step 8: Purchasing Methods

  • Edit the message shown after customers submit an offer.

  • Separate messages can be set for:

    • Mail-In

    • In-Store

    • Bulk Quote

    • Easy Offer

  • Click Edit Message or Preview Message to adjust the tone and layout.

    Edit Offer Details

  • Match your brand voice (e.g., friendly, professional, bold):

Personalize confirmation messages for each purchasing method. Use dynamic codes like {:company-name} to specify offer validity durations. You can access this by clicking the Edit Message button in the Purchasing Method section. After completing the edits, click the Save button.

    Save Offer Changes

    Review Closing Message

  • Manual Shipping Labels (if no shipping integration is active):

    • Add a custom title and message to guide customers

    • This section helps guide customers if your team is not using an automatic shipping integration.

📝 Tooltip (if integration is not enabled):

“This message will appear when no shipping integration is enabled for Mail-In. In this case, customers will not receive automatically generated labels, and you'll need to manually process the shipping labels and email them to the customer. You can also add any message or instructions for your customers.”

      Save Offer Changes

    • Why Is Manual Shipping Label Disabled?
If you’re wondering why the Manual Shipping Label section is greyed out — it’s because you already have a shipping integration enabled. Once an integration is active, Reusely automatically generates shipping labels for Mail-In offers, so this section becomes disabled and manual customization is no longer needed.

Note

Please ensure that you fill out the address fields completely and accurately to generate a shipping label successfully.

Step 8.2 (Optional): Create a Custom Purchase Method

  • Toggle ON “Custom Purchase Method

    Advance in Offer Setup

  • Click Settings

    Open Settings Menu

  • Configure the following:

    • Title

    • Description (e.g., “Drop off at a nearby partner location. After inspection, we confirm and pay”)

    • Link (e.g., required as the customer will navigate to it)

    • Upload an icon

  • After sure click Save Changes.

    Confirm Description Save

Note

Custom Purchasing Methods is not linked to any automations or system workflows and does not create a buyback offer within Reusely. It functions purely as a manual scheduling tool. Users typically embed a Calendly link or a similar service to schedule a meetup. The entire process is manual for now, but we’re actively working on adding automation in future updates.

Step 9: Enable Lead Booster

Navigate to Offers Section

Toggle this ON to require customer information before displaying their offer. You have two choices of data that can be collected:

  • By Email

    • Toggle the “Email Me” option ON to streamline the offer process and automatically capture the customer’s contact details.

    Select Lead Booster Option

  • By Phone Number

    • If you use Klaviyo and the SMS Disclosure toggle is ON, checkboxes will be displayed on the widget.

    Reopen Lead Booster Settings

📝 Tooltip: “Generate more leads by collecting customer information before showing the offer.”

Note

  • Customer will fill this out on the Widget page.

  • It will automatically appear in your API Docs as well.

Step 10 (Optional): Require IMEI or Serial Number

  • Enable this toggle to make IMEI/Serial input before continuing

  • Helps reduce spam or fraudulent submissions

    📝 Tooltip:

“Applies only to electronics and products with IMEI. This setting is disabled if your catalog has no electronic items.”

    Access Widget Offer Settings

Step 11: Enable Image Uploads

  • Toggle Upload Image to allow customers to add item photos.

  • Enter a Title and Description for the upload section to guide customers.

  • Choose whether uploading an image is Required or Optional.

    Open Image Settings

Step 12: Edit the Instructional Banner

  • Toggle ON to display instructional text above the offer section

  • Customize the:

    • Message text

    • Display icon

      Edit Checkout Instructional Text

  • Here's how will shows

Note

If your catalog doesn’t include electronics, settings will be disabled automatically.

Step 13: Save Changes

After sure, click Save Changes to apply all your configurations

Offer Page Settings give you full control over how your offers behave. From setting limits and expiration rules to customizing confirmations and capturing leads. Use these tools to streamline your buyback workflow, enhance clarity for your customers, and stay consistent with your business strategy.
