Custom Offer in In-Store

How to create an In-Store custom quote offer

Purpose

This walkthrough explains how to create an In-Store Custom Quote offer in Reusely. Custom offers let you process items not available in your catalog, providing a flexible, convenient way to handle unique or uncommon devices.


Before You Begin

Make sure:

  • You already have accurate details for the item (name, category, condition, and any specifications).

  • Custom offers are request-based, meaning your team will review the submission and provide pricing after evaluation.

  • Your store information, such as address and the widget, is set up correctly.

Steps

1. Open the Widget

  • Go to your company website and open the Buyback Widget.

    Access Buyback Widget

  • Type the item the customer wants to sell. Then click “I can't find what I am looking for” to start a custom offer.

    Proceed to Next Step

  • Or quickly click "Can't find what you're looking to sell? Get a Custom Offer".

2. Define the Item

Using Available Categories

  • Select a category from the available list.

    Open Offer Management

  • Choose a condition and click Confirm Condition.

Create Custom Condition

Review Offer Information

If the item doesn’t match any existing category, create your own by filling in the following details:

  • Item Name

  • Manufacturer

  • Storage (if applicable)

  • Item condition

  • Additional notes (optional)

Then click Save Item & Continue.

3. Choose In-Store Processing

  • Choose In-Store.

    Verify Buyback Activation
  • A list of store locations will appear.

  • Select the store where the transaction will be completed.

  • Check the map to make sure, then click Sell at this location.

4. Review Offer Summary

  • On the Offer Summary page, review the item details.

  • Adjust the quantity or add additional items if needed.

  • Click Continue.

Note

There's a Custom Item logo with a tooltip "Pending Price Review".

5. Enter Customer Information

Complete the customer details:

  • First and last name

  • Email address (use the checkboxes if you need the updated information)

  • Preferred payout method

    • Optional: select Expedited Payout for faster processing

  • Phone number (also use the checkboxes if you need the updated information)

Review Offer Metrics

6. Confirm and Submit

  • Review the Terms and Conditions.

  • Proceed by clicking the Lock in Offer button.

Access Final Review

7. After Submission

  • The confirmation page displays:

    • A complete offer summary

    • Map directions to the selected store

  • (Optional) You may upload item photos to support the evaluation process.

Approve Offer

How It Appears in Offer Management

Once submitted, the In-Store Custom Offer will appear in the Offer Management page with a Pending status, ready for review. Customers are notified via the Customer Portal, email, or SMS (if enabled), and your team can begin pricing confirmation and proceed to the next workflow step.


Tips & Notes

  • Custom offers are ideal for unlisted, rare, or high-value items.

  • Clear item descriptions and complete equipment will help increase your item's price.

  • Pricing is not finalized until your team reviews the item.

  • Custom offers remain in Pending status until your team processes them.
