Complete Catalog Setup Guide

Configure your entire buyback catalog, pricing, conditions, and purchasing methods from one place.

Written by Althaaf Rachman Hafidz

Purpose

The Catalog page is the central place to configure your entire buyback catalog. Instead of managing Catalog, Conditions, and Price Editor separately, everything is now available in a single workspace.

From the Catalog page, you can:

  • Enable or disable products for buyback.

  • Assign Condition Groups to products.

  • Configure manual pricing or Price Sync.

  • Enable purchasing methods.

  • Import custom catalog items.

  • Enable Recycling.

  • Upload or export pricing.

  • Monitor setup progress using Buying Status.

By completing the setup in Catalog, your customers will immediately be able to start selling eligible devices through your buyback channels.

Before You Begin

Before configuring your catalog, make sure:

  • Your catalog contains the products you want to buy back.

  • You know which Condition Group you want to assign.

  • You have decided whether to use Manual Pricing or Price Sync.

  • You have the appropriate plan if using Conditional Questions or bulk pricing tools.

Understanding the Catalog Page

The Catalog page combines all catalog management into one experience.

Each category displays:

  • Buying Status

  • Active Models

  • Pricing Status

  • Condition Group

  • Purchasing Methods

This allows you to quickly identify which products are fully configured and which still require attention.

Understanding Buying Status

Each category automatically displays one of three statuses.

Active

The category is fully configured.

Requirements:

  • Products enabled

  • Condition Group assigned

  • Pricing configured

The category is immediately available for buyback.

Setup Required

Some configuration has been completed, but additional setup is still required.

Examples include:

  • Products enabled without pricing

  • Pricing configured without Condition Groups

  • Condition Groups assigned but purchasing methods disabled

Inactive

Nothing has been configured.

The category is hidden from customers until setup is completed.

Step 1 — Open Catalog

Navigate to:

Settings → Catalog

The page displays every available product category.

Use the search field to quickly locate a category.

You can also:

  • Pin frequently used categories

  • Filter the items.

  • Search categories

Pinned categories remain at the top of the page.

Step 2 — Enable Products

Open a category.

Expand the brand you wish to configure.

You can:

  • Enable an entire brand by clicking Select All.

  • Enable individual models.

  • Enable multiple models simultaneously.

Once enabled, the model becomes available for further configuration.

Step 3 — Assign Condition Groups

Click Condition Settings.

Here you can:

  • Create Condition Groups

  • Use preset conditions

  • Create manual conditions

  • Edit existing groups

  • Delete unused groups

After creating a Condition Group, assign it to the appropriate models.

Each model can have its own Condition Group, allowing much greater flexibility than before.

Step 4 — Configure Conditional Questions (Optional)

Conditional Questions allow customers to answer additional questions that affect pricing.

Examples include:

  • Does the device include the original charger?

  • Is the battery original?

  • Is the screen cracked?

Each answer can:

  • Do nothing

  • Apply a Markup

  • Apply a Markdown

You can also configure:

  • Required questions

  • Multiple answers

  • Minimum Guardrails

  • Bulk Conditional Questions

Conditional Questions automatically appear throughout the buyback journey, including:

  • Widget

  • Offer Details

  • Customer Portal

  • Receipts

Step 5 — Configure Pricing

Open a category.

Select the model you want to price.

The Pricing section allows you to:

  • Edit prices manually

  • Configure Price Sync

  • Override synced prices

  • Apply Pricing Rules

Each condition displays its own price.

Prices can be edited directly inside the pricing table.

If Price Sync already exists, you can choose to:

  • Create a new setup

  • Edit the existing setup

Price Sync automatically updates supported products from your selected pricing source.

Manual Pricing

Instead of syncing prices, you may enter prices manually.

Simply click any price cell and enter your desired value.

Manual prices immediately override synced values for that specific condition.

Brand New → Excellent

Excellent → Good

This saves time when multiple conditions follow consistent pricing differences.

Open Pricing Details → Location Offer Adjustments (or Price Editor → Location Offer Adjustments) to create and manage adjustment rules.

If no rules exist, click Create Adjustment.

Then configure:

  • Rule Name

  • One or more Locations

  • One or more Models
