Configure your products, purchasing methods, recycling options, and catalog data from one place.

Written by Althaaf Rachman Hafidz

Purpose

The Catalog page is the central place to manage the products you want to buy back and control which purchasing methods are available to customers.

From the Catalog page, you can:

  • Enable or disable products for buyback.

  • View the setup status of your catalog.

  • Configure purchasing methods.

  • Enable Recycling.

  • Upload custom catalog items.

  • Upload pricing files.

  • Export catalog data.

  • Search and organize your products.

By completing your catalog setup, you can make sure the correct products are available to customers through your selected buyback channels.

Before You Begin

Before setting up your catalog, make sure:

  • The products you want to buy back are available in your catalog.

  • You know which products you want customers to be able to sell.

  • You know which purchasing methods you want to offer.

  • You have the required information if you plan to upload a custom catalog.

  • You have a completed pricing file if you plan to upload pricing in bulk.

Understanding the Catalog Page

Go to:

Settings → Catalog

The Catalog page brings your product configuration into one workspace.

Each category can display information such as:

  • Buying Status

  • Active Models

  • Pricing Status

  • Condition Group

  • Purchasing Methods

This allows you to quickly identify which categories are fully configured and which still require attention.

Understanding Buying Status

Buying Status helps you understand whether a category is ready for customers.

There are three possible statuses.

Active

The category has been fully configured and is ready for buyback.

Setup Required

The category has some configuration completed, but additional setup is still required.

For example:

  • Products are enabled but pricing is missing.

  • Products are enabled but a Condition Group has not been assigned.

  • Required purchasing methods have not been enabled.

Inactive

No configuration has been completed for the category.

The category is not available for customers to use for buyback.

Step 1 — Find a Product Category

From:

Settings → Catalog

Use the search field to find the category you want to configure.

You can also:

  • Search categories.

  • Filter products.

  • Pin frequently managed categories.

Pinned categories remain at the top of the Catalog page for easier access.

Step 2 — Enable Products

Open the category you want to configure.

Expand the brand to view the available models.

You can enable products in several ways:

  • Enable an entire brand

Click Select All to enable all available models under the selected brand.

  • Enable individual models

Select only the models you want to buy back.

  • Enable multiple models

Select multiple models at once to configure them together.

Once a model is enabled, it becomes available for additional catalog configuration.

Step 3 — Configure Purchasing Methods

After enabling your products, configure how customers can sell them to you.

Available purchasing methods can include:

  • Mail-In

  • In-Store

  • Custom Location

Depending on your account and configuration, Mail-In can include:

  • Batch Quote

  • Sell Instantly

  • Easy Offer

Enable only the purchasing methods you want customers to use for each product.

The Catalog overview shows how many models are enabled for each purchasing method.

For example:

  • Mail-In: 24 models
    Easy Offer: 12 models

This makes it easier to understand which products are available through each buying method.

Step 4 — Enable Recycling

If you want customers to recycle products instead of selling them, you can enable Recycling.

Go to:

More Actions → Enable Recycling

Select the:

  • Category

  • Brand

  • Models

  • Eligible conditions

You can also customize the recycling message displayed to customers.

Recycling allows you to offer an alternative when a device does not qualify for a buyback payout.

Step 5 — Upload a Custom Catalog

If the product you want to buy back is not available in the standard catalog, you can add it using a custom catalog.

Go to:

  • More Actions → Upload Custom Catalog

  • Download the provided template.

  • Complete the required fields and upload the file.

Custom Catalog Requirements

Imported products require:

  • A unique SKU.

  • Public image URLs.

  • Supported image formats such as .svg or .webp.

Imported products appear under the Other category.

Once imported, they can be managed like other catalog products.

Step 6 — Upload Pricing

If you need to update prices for multiple products at once, you can upload a pricing file.

Go to:

  • More Actions → Price Upload

  • Download the pricing template.

  • Update the required prices in the CSV or XLSX file.

  • Then upload the completed file.

  • This allows you to update pricing in bulk instead of editing individual products.

  • For detailed pricing configuration, see the Pricing Setup Guide.

Step 7 — Export Catalog Data

You can export your catalog information for review or backup.

Click: Export

Depending on your configuration, the exported file can include:

  • Active products

  • Pricing

  • Conditions

  • Configuration information

Regular exports can help maintain a backup of your catalog.

Reviewing Your Catalog Setup

Once your products are configured, use the Catalog overview to review your setup.

You can check:

Active Models

The number of products currently enabled.

Condition Groups

The Condition Groups assigned to your products.

Purchasing Methods

The number of products available through each purchasing method.

Pricing Status

Whether products have pricing configured.

Buying Status

Whether the category is Active, Setup Required, or Inactive.

Recommended Setup Order

For the smoothest setup, we recommend configuring your catalog in this order:

  1. Enable the products you want to buy back.

  2. Assign the appropriate Condition Groups.

  3. Configure pricing.

  4. Enable the purchasing methods you want to offer.

  5. Review the Buying Status.

  6. Test the customer buyback flow.

Tips & Notes

  • Use the search function to quickly locate products.

  • Pin categories that you manage frequently.

  • Use Buying Status to identify incomplete catalog setups.

  • Disable products you no longer want to buy back.

  • Review purchasing methods regularly to make sure customers have the correct options.

  • Export your catalog periodically as a backup.

  • Make sure products have pricing and conditions configured before making them available to customers.

Summary

The Catalog page gives you a central place to manage the products available for buyback.

By enabling the appropriate products, configuring purchasing methods, setting up Recycling, and keeping your catalog data updated, you can ensure customers see the correct products and buying options.

Once your categories show an Active status, your catalog is ready for customers.
