Customer Email Notifications

How to customize automated emails sent to customers

Purpose

Customer Notifications allow you to customize the automated emails customers receive throughout the buyback process.


Steps

Step 1: Open Customer Notifications

  1. Go to Settings → Notification Settings.

  2. Open the Email Customization section.

  3. Scroll to Customer Notifications.

Step 2: Select an Offer Type

Depending on your account setup, you can configure notifications for:

  • Mail In

  • In Store

  • Batch Quote

  • Easy Offer

  • Custom Location

Select the offer type you want to configure.

Step 3: Enable or Disable a Notification

Use the toggle next to a notification to enable or disable it.

Step 4: Edit an Email

  1. Select the notification you want to customize.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Update the available settings.

  4. Add or modify the BCC, subject, and body text.

  5. Add available dynamic fields.

  6. Click Preview to review the email.

  7. Click Save.

Step 5: Configure Reminders

For notifications that support reminders, you can configure up to three reminders.

Depending on the notification, you can set the delay using:

  • Minutes

  • Hours

  • Days

Step 6: Customize Review Emails

For payout-based review requests:

  1. Open the Review Email section.

  2. Configure the timing for the relevant payout method.

  3. Enter the review page link.

  4. Customize the subject and message.

  5. Add a BCC if needed.

  6. Enable the company logo if desired.

  7. Click Save.

Supported payout methods may include:

  • Digital Payments

  • Bank Transfers

  • Cash

  • Manual Payments

  • Other


Dynamic Fields

Dynamic fields automatically insert offer and customer information into your emails.

Examples:

  • {:offer-id}
    Displays the offer ID.

  • {:offer-total}
    Displays the total offer amount.

  • {:offer-date}
    Displays the offer date.

  • {:customer-name}
    Displays the customer name.

  • {:customer-email}
    Displays the customer's email address.

  • {:fedex-qr}
    Displays the FedEx tracking QR code when supported.

Tips & Notes

  • Preview your email before saving to make sure the subject, message, links, and dynamic fields appear correctly.

  • Make sure reminders are configured according to your intended customer communication schedule.

  • Use dynamic fields to personalize your emails with the relevant offer and customer information.

  • Remember to click Save after making changes.
