Setting up ShipStation API with your Reusely account ensures a smooth and efficient buyback label generation process. Follow these simple steps to integrate your ShipStation account with Reusely and get started seamlessly.
Step-by-Step Guide to Integrating ShipStation API with Reusely
Step 1: Sign Up for a ShipStation API Account
If you don’t already have a ShipEngine account, create one by visiting the Shipstation API website.
Step 2: Generate a Production API Key
Log in to your ShipStation account.
Generate a production API key if you haven’t done so already.
Step 3: Link Your Carrier Account
Go to the Carrier/Shipping settings in ShipStation.
You can either: Use ShipStation API supported carrier integrations directly through ShipStation, or Bring your own carrier account and connect it manually through ShipStation if supported by your carrier.
Step 4: Set Up Carrier Billing
Navigate to Insureance in ShipStation API.
Click "Add Funds" and enable "Auto Funding" to avoid service interruptions.
Step 5: Connect ShipStation API to Reusely
Copy your ShipEngine API Key.
In your Reusely account, go to the ShipStation API (ShipEngine) integration settings.
Paste the API Key into the designated field and click the Connect button.
Step 6: Select Carrier Service for Labels
Choose your preferred carrier service for generating buyback labels.
Click the Save button to finalize the setup.
Additional Notes:
ShipEngine and ShipStation are both managed under Auctane.
Users can use either platform with our ShipEngine integration.
ShipStation users can contact ShipStation support to transfer their wallet/setup to ShipEngine and continue using the same API key with Reusely.
Make sure your carrier account and API credentials are properly configured before testing label generation.
