If you plan to process Mail-In buybacks with your account, we highly recommend enabling the EasyPost integration within your account’s Add-On page. When enabled, your buyback widget will automatically generate shipping labels whenever a customer creates a Mail-In buyback offer.

All shipping labels generated through your buyback widget will be true-return labels. This means that your shipping courier will not charge you for the label until it has been marked as dropped off, saving your business both time and money.

Option 1 (Recommended): Linking Your Own Carrier Account
Your carrier account must be a Pay on Delivery Return / Bill on Delivery Return account. Standard accounts will incur charges for all generated labels, even if unused.
You will manage all carrier account features, including insurance claims, billing, and shipping service issues, directly with your carrier.
You must add two payment methods within your EasyPost billing settings and fund your EasyPost Wallet. This is a pay-as-you-go service, so configure your refill settings accordingly:
Bank transfers take 3-4 days.
Credit card payments are instant but incur a 3.75% processing fee.
EasyPost charges a minimal service fee per label (around $0.05 for U.S. users).
Option 2 (Not Recommended – Lengthy Approval Process): EasyPost USPS Return Account
Requires pre-approval for "Bill on Delivery" from EasyPost.
EasyPost handles rate calculations and billing directly.
Includes access to USPS Broker ID (QR mobile barcode scanning) via API integration with Reusely.
EasyPost applies nominal fees for these services, in addition to the shipping costs.
Supported services: Priority Express, Priority, Ground Advantage, Bulk Parcel, and Parcel services.
How to Set Up EasyPost Integration
Option 1: Linking Your Own Carrier Account
Sign up for an EasyPost account if you don’t have one.
Generate a production API key. If API settings are unavailable, contact EasyPost to verify your account.
Link your own carrier account using your carrier invoice details.
Add two payment methods and fund your EasyPost Wallet.
Go to the Add-On page in your Reusely account.
Turn on the EasyPost integration toggle, then click Setting.
Copy your API key from EasyPost and paste it into the API Key field in Reusely, then click Connect.
Choose your preferred carrier service for generating buyback labels and click Save.
If enabling multiple shipping services, set up Advanced Shipping Rules from the Manage Shipping Settings page.

Option 2: Using an EasyPost USPS Return Account
Sign up for an EasyPost account if you don’t have one.
Email EasyPost support (support@easypost.com) using the template below:

I’m [Your Name], representing [Your Company Name].We currently have an EasyPost account registered under [Your Email].
We’re interested in getting a USPS Return account from you, with the additional request for approval for the "Bill on Delivery" service. We utilize the Reusely.com platform, which is seamlessly integrated with EasyPost. Upon confirmation of our account approval, Reusely.com will add the "USPSReturns CarrierAccount" API call.
Generate a production API key. If API settings are unavailable, contact EasyPost to verify your account.
After EasyPost approves your request, create an API Call:
Copy your API key from EasyPost.
Paste it into the API Key field in Reusely's Add-On page and click Connect.
The system will confirm: "Your USPS Return Account has been successfully activated."

EasyPost will schedule a call with a USPS representative for final approval - its a lengthy process now.
Once EasyPost confirms service activation, go to Reusely Add-On settings and ensure "USPSReturns" carriers are visible. Select your preferred service and click Save (Recommended: USPS Return Ground Advantage).
If enabling multiple shipping services, set up Advanced Shipping Rules (available for Pro plans) in the Manage Shipping Settings page.

Skipping any steps for Option 2 may result in real-time charges for unused labels, as your account will not be set up for "Bill on Delivery."
