How to Manage Recovery Email Notifications
Follow these simple steps to customize and manage Recovery Email settings:
Navigate to the Notification Settings page in your dashboard.
In the Customer Notifications section, click the Pencil icon next to Recovery Email option.
Customize the time intervals for sending reminder emails according to your preferences. You can select between 1, 2, or 3 attempts, with adjustable time delays in hours or days to suit your needs.
Add your staff’s email addresses in the BCC section so they receive copies of the reminder.
Edit the Subject line to align with your brand's messaging.
By default, the email includes a reminder for the customer to mail or drop off their items to get paid.
The email also contains key variables such as:
{:customer-fullname} – Customer’s full name
{:offer-total} – Total amount of trade-in offer
{:offer-detail-button} – Link to the customer portal page
{:shippingkit-pdf} – Shipping kit PDF
{:company-name} – Your company’s name
{:company-logo} – Your company’s logo
Add or remove content and variables to match your brand’s tone and requirements.
Click Save Changes at the top right of your screen to apply the updates.
Click Preview Email to review how the updated notification will appear to customers.
If you need to revert to the original settings, click Reset to Default and confirm by selecting Yes, Reset.
