How to manage Receipt Settings

The Receipt Settings menu is the latest addition to the Settings page, allowing you to manage and edit Bulk Quote receipts. These receipts are sent to customers when you share the Customer Portal URL after a quote is created. Customers can also download their receipts through the Bulk Offer details page in the Customer Portal.


How to Manage Receipt Template

Follow these simple steps to manage the receipt template in your Bulk Quote Receipt Settings page.

  1. Navigate to the Receipts Settings page.

    Navigate to the "Receipt" menu
  2. Click the three-dot menu, then select the pencil icon for the buyback type you want to edit.

    Click "Bulk Quote" section
  3. In the email body, you may use the provided template or customize the draft to create your receipt.

    Fill in with the draft for your receipt
  4. Use variables like {:company-name} and {:price-lock} to personalize the content.

    Leverage the variables to enhance the draft
  5. Click the Preview button to see how the updated receipt will appear.

    Click "Preview"
  6. Click Save Changes if you're satisfied with the changes.

    Click "Save Changes"

How to Add Additional Provisions

You can further customize your receipts by using the Additional Provisions feature. This allows you to incorporate terms and conditions that improve clarity and compliance.

To use this feature, follow these simple steps:

  1. Enable the Custom Additional Provisions feature.

    Open Additional Provisions Editor
  2. Write your provisions based on your requirements.

    View Terms and Conditions
  3. Use the following variables to personalize the content:

    • {:company-name}

    • {:items}

    • {:offer-payout-method}

    • {:customer-firstname}

    • {:customer-lastname}

    • {:customer-fullname}

    • {:offer-id}

    • {:offer-total}

    • {:location-name}

    Edit Receipt Content
  4. Click Preview to review your changes.

    Check Support Agent Notes
  5. Click Save Changes to finalize the updates.
