How to remove a Mail-In or In-Store location

Removing a Mail-In Location

Purpose

Delete a Mail-In location you no longer use, while ensuring important data isn’t lost. This keep your setup clean and up to date.

Steps

1. Open Location Management

2. Select the Mail-In Location

  • Hover over the Mail-In location you want to remove.

  • Click the Trashcan (Delete) icon.

3. Export Data (Recommended)

  • Export any necessary data before confirming deletion.

4. Confirm Deletion

  • Once confirmed, the Mail-In location will be permanently removed.

Examples/Scenarios

  • Shutting down a mail-in program but continuing to operate physical stores.

  • Moving to a new logistics provider and replacing the old mail-in location.

Important Note

  • You can still access the data from the Offer Management page, but you can only view it.

  • When you create a new Mail-In location, the old data will be migrated to it.


Removing an In-Store Location

Purpose

Delete an In-Store location that’s no longer needed, while keeping your customer history intact.

Steps

1. Open Location Management

2. Select the In-Store Location

  • Hover over the In-Store location you want to remove.

  • Click the Trashcan (Delete) icon.

3. Transfer Data (Recommended)

  • Transfer data to another location before confirming deletion.

4. Confirm Deletion

  • Once confirmed, the In-Store location will be permanently removed.

Examples/Scenarios

  • Closing down a branch while consolidating into a flagship store.

  • Restructuring locations during a business expansion.

Important Notes

  • When an offer is exported to Mail-In, it still appears in the In-Store tab, but its location changes to Mail-In.

  • Be sure to update your filters and search by the Mail-In location.


Tips & Notes

  • Useful when consolidating or reorganizing multiple stores.

  • Always export customer or transaction data before deleting.
