Efficient communication is key to managing your buyback operations smoothly. By setting up staff notifications, you can ensure that your team stays informed about new buybacks and customer activity in real time. This guide will walk you through the process of enabling staff notifications effortlessly.

Setting Up Staff Notifications to Track Buyback Activity

Add a staff notification

To add staff notifications:

  1. Navigate to the Notification Settings section.

Screenshot of a web interface showing two sections: Basic Settings with five icons and Advanced Settings with six icons. The "Notifications" icon is highlighted with a red border.
  2. Enable the toggle to give you access to add your staff's email(s) where notifications should be sent.

  3. Notifications are triggered whenever a new buyback is created.

Note:

  • Ensure the correct email addresses are configured to receive timely updates.

  • If you set up the Cart Recovery Notifications template, your customers will receive notifications, and you can also add a BCC so your staff receives the same email. These notifications are triggered based on the criteria you configure in the template, ensuring both your customers and staff are notified.

Limitations of Current Notification Flow

We’re continually working to improve notification functionality. Here’s what you need to know about the current limitations:

Abandoned Buybacks:

Staff notifications are not yet triggered immediately when a customer abandons a buyback or leaves an offer incomplete.

What We’re Doing:
Our team is actively developing this feature and will include it in a future update. Stay tuned for announcements regarding this enhancement.

How to Manage Until Then:
Regularly monitor your buyback dashboard for abandoned offers. Consider implementing manual follow-ups to re-engage customers until the automated feature becomes available.
