How to manage auto-accept offer reminder

Purpose

The Auto-Accept Offer Reminder automatically sends an email to customers to review and respond to a Revised Offer after an item is marked Not as Described. If the customer does not take action before the expiration date, the offer is automatically accepted and continues through the standard workflow.

Note

This email is sent when an item is marked as Not as Described (applies only to Mail-In and In-Store offers).


Before You Begin

Ensure Auto-Accept Revised Offers is activated by going to Settings → Offer → Offer Rules, toggling Auto-Accept Revised Offers on, and setting the minimum number of days before offers automatically proceed.

Steps

  1. Access Notification Settings
    Go to Settings > Notification Settings in your Reusely dashboard.

  2. Edit Auto-Accept Offer Reminder template:
    On the Customer Notifications:

    • Switch the Auto-Accept Offer Reminder toggle On to activate it.

    • Click the pencil icon to open the email template editor.

  3. Add Internal Recipients (Optional)
    Enter your team’s email address in the BCC field to receive a copy of each reminder email sent to customers.

  4. Add Replies To
    Enter where's your customer will be replied by add specific email.

  5. Customize Email Subject & Content
    Edit the subject line and message to match your brand voice.
    The default email includes:

    • Customer’s first name

    • Offer expiration date

    • Offer detail link

    • Company email address

  6. Modify Variables (Optional)

    • You may add, remove, or replace variables in the template.

    • To include additional details, copy the variable code and paste it into the email content where needed.

  7. Save & Preview
    Click Save to apply your changes.

    Select Preview Email to see how the message appears to the customer.

  8. Reset to Default (If Needed)
    To restore the original template:

    • Click Reset to Default

    • Confirm by selecting Yes, Reset

  • Enable this notification before processing any Not as Described offers to ensure customers receive reminders on time.

  • Customize the message using your company’s tone and branding to create a more personal and reassuring customer experience.


This setup helps ensure timely customer responses while keeping your revised offers moving smoothly through the buyback workflow.
