Sell inventory items directly to a wholesaler in one step, without manually creating an invoice. Instant Sell is built for businesses that use Price Sync and want to quickly flip devices for guaranteed profit.
What Instant Sell Does
When you use Price Sync to automate your buyback pricing based on a wholesaler's prices, the system knows exactly what that wholesaler will pay for each device. Instant Sell uses that data to create a sale in a single action -- selecting the device, confirming the price, and generating an invoice to the wholesaler automatically.
Instead of navigating to the Invoices page, creating a new invoice, searching for the buyer, adding the product, and recording payment, Instant Sell handles all of that behind the scenes.
Requirements
Before you can use Instant Sell, confirm the following:
Price Sync is configured for at least one source/wholesaler.
Inventory items have a Price Sync source -- The device must have been priced using a synced source. If an item was manually priced or has no source, Instant Sell will not be available for it.
The source wholesaler must have a valid customer record (email) in the system.
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1. Navigate to Inventory
Go to Inventory from the main sidebar. Filter or search for the items you want to sell.
2. Select Items
Check the boxes next to one or more inventory items that have Instant Sell available. You will see the Sell Instantly option appear when eligible items are selected.
All selected items must share the same Price Sync source. If you select items from different sources, the system will prompt you to narrow your selection.
3. Review the Sell Instantly Details
After clicking Sell Instantly, the system displays:
The wholesaler/buyer the items will be sold to (pulled from the Price Sync source).
The customer information for that buyer, including email and company details.
A line-by-line breakdown of each device, its condition, and the sell price based on the synced pricing.
The subtotal for the transaction.
Review the details to confirm everything looks correct.
4. Confirm and Complete
Click Confirm to finalize the sale. The system will:
Create an invoice automatically for the transaction.
Update the inventory status of each item to Sold or Pending (depending on the invoice status).
Record the sale in the item's selling history.
Link the invoice to the buyer's customer record.
5. View the Invoice
After the Instant Sell completes, you can navigate to Invoices to view the generated invoice. From there, you can record payment, add tracking information, or manage the invoice as you would any other.
You can also check whether an existing invoice was created via Instant Sell by looking at the invoice detail page, which indicates the sell-instantly origin.
What Happens to Inventory After Instant Sell
Once confirmed, each sold item's status changes in your inventory. The item's Selling History on its detail page will record the sale date, the condition at the time of sale, the buyer, and the price. If the invoice includes shipping, you can add tracking information directly on the invoice.
Tips
Batch similar items together. Select multiple items from the same source to sell them all in one Instant Sell transaction.
Check your Price Sync regularly. Instant Sell prices reflect your current synced pricing. If prices have changed since the item entered inventory, the sell price will reflect the latest sync.
Use Instant Sell for speed, invoices for flexibility. If you need payment terms, custom line items, or a buyer not in your Price Sync sources, create a standard invoice instead.
